Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov is an American actress who is famous for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward, since 2011. Tarlov was born in Manhattan as the eldest among two girls. As a ten year old, Tarlov began her acting career in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th graders that attended the production were very impressed. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She had the opportunity to learn a variety of styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company was another place she studied. Molly also integrated writing in her acting in the LAByrinth Theatre master class. Molly exchanged her winter coat in exchange for dark sunglasses and headed for Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word appearance on iCarly which garnered a lot of attention from her parents. Since then Molly has made a variety of television appearances. Her most recent was a creation of Caitlin's character on Winnie Woodman and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a professional basketball player who would like to think that she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
