Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was the stage performer for The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Communications and Theatre. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. She was involved in acting and conducting over 20 musicals. Some of these productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly was also able to land film and television roles, while continuing her improv studies with The Groundlings. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite dimensions have let her portray a range of different roles. Her most well-known role is her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known for the glamorous bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in the main character on TV Land's The Exes in which she played both a party-hopper and paralegal during the time of the day. She was also a Regular as the sassy, sexpert little sister to Alyssa Milano in ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the stressed out suburban mom on the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She has lent her singing voice to a variety of animated shows, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was that of the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC popular comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet private life with her husband and two small children and enjoys sewing writing and helping out at school events.
