Andressa Urach

When she was just 15, Andressa Urach began a love affair in a relationship with Tiago Costa. They moved in together after three months. The couple was blessed with an unmarried baby boy, Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19th, 2005. Following divorce, the couple split in 2008, following six years of being together. Andressa was able to move in with her son at their mother's residence. Then, after six-month separation she was fired and chose to send her son back to his father, in hopes of pursuing the life of a better chance in Sao Paulo. Being vain driven, ambitious and a self-confident woman, the principal motive for her leaving her home in the South in order to move to Sao Paulo, was in the hope of achieving the fame and riches. In the book Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she was a victim of sexual assault throughout her childhood a victim of abuse by her foster grandfather starting at when she was 2 until 8. She only managed to get rid of all this since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the act and Andressa went back to stay with her mother, who was unaware of the abuse she suffered until Andressa published her book. Interviews with the woman confirmed that it was unattainable for her prior to her change of heart. Forgiveness of her abusive partner was an idea she considered impossible to achieve. One of the toughest decision I've made in my life was to contact the person who had sexually abused. It wasn't an easy task to do. After much prayer vows and fasting I said on the phone that I forgive him and although I wasn't in any way guilty, I did ask him for forgiveness. This was a straightforward plea. It was not a reason to defend my action. Mariste Urach, in a piece for Globo, explains the story of how she was first informed of her daughter's petty abuse.
